La jornada se llev\u00f3 a cabo en la planta baja de la biblioteca principal de nuestra instituci\u00f3n, y estuvo organizada por la Fundaci\u00f3n para el Servicio de Asistencia M\u00e9dica Hospitalaria para los Estudiantes de Educaci\u00f3n Superior (FAMES), en la que se cont\u00f3 con la participaci\u00f3n del Doctor Grau, Mar\u00eda Nina Vallejo (enfermera), Sherman Santa Cruz (Param\u00e9dico), adem\u00e1s de la colaboraci\u00f3n de la Cruz Roja y el equipo de vacunaci\u00f3n del Ambulatorio de Cantarrana. El responsable de FAMES en la UPTOS Clodosbaldo Russi\u00e1n, Sherman Santa Cruz, explic\u00f3 que el principal objetivo de esta actividad es darle la bienvenida a los nuevos ingresos y que ellos conozcan cuales son los beneficios que tienen en el \u00e1rea de salud mientras est\u00e1n en su preparaci\u00f3n como profesionales: \u201cNuestros estudiantes cuentan con un equipo de trabajo con alta calidad humana y profesional dispuestos a apoyarlos en todo cuanto sea posible en lo concerniente a su salud\u201d. Es importante se\u00f1alar que en esta jornada se lograron atender a m\u00e1s de 500 estudiantes, quienes gozaron del beneficio de inmunizaci\u00f3n (vacunas contra la influenza, toxoide y refuerzo de Covid 19), adem\u00e1s de atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica general, psiquiatr\u00eda, ginecolog\u00eda y medicina interna; adem\u00e1s de sesiones educativas sobre la prevenci\u00f3n de enfermedades ven\u00e9reas, abuso de drogas y uso de m\u00e9todos anticonceptivos, para as\u00ed impactar positivamente en la vida de nuestra comunidad universitaria. Cabe recordar que la misi\u00f3n del FAMES es contribuir con el fortalecimiento\u00a0 de los niveles de atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica,\u00a0 aunado a un enfoque preventivo de las enfermedades en los estudiantes universitarios, con el prop\u00f3sito de garantizar su prosecuci\u00f3n y buen desenvolvimiento acad\u00e9mico.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"es-ES\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00a1Somos pueblo!
